Emily Hodge completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Sussex before completing her LPC at the University of Law. Emily focused on Advanced Criminal Law and Practice, Family Law and Practice, Dispute Resolution and Real Estate and achieved a commendation in her LPC. She also earned a distinction in her Masters Research Report which explored the legislation surrounding corporate manslaughter. She qualified in 2018.
During her degree, Emily volunteered with the Prisoners’ Advice Service. She also volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence whilst studying the LPC.
Emily has worked as a podcast host for the Crime and Investigation Channel where she interviewed Detective Chief Inspectors and Psychologists about criminal cases. She also has her own blog: https://studentsverdict.wordpress.com/
Emily is currently undertaking the Police Station Accreditation.
