Shalin Sood


Shalin is a Solicitor Advocate, based in South West London. She qualified in 2019 and obtained her Crown Court Higher Rights of Audience and Magistrates Court Duty accreditation in the same year. She has been Police Station accredited since 2016, and is shortly to commence studying for her (LLM) Masters in Criminal Litigation part time in September 2020 at City University.
Shalin gained significant and wide-ranging experience during her training and since qualification in Magistrates, Crown Court and Prison Law work, the latter involving appearing at adjudications and oral hearings before the Parole Board. She has worked on cases where clients were defending high-profile prosecutions brought by the Serious Fraud Office concerning allegations of bribery, as well as other high value and complex fraud and confiscation cases. In addition, Shalin is experienced in dealing with cases involving serious sexual offences, human trafficking , and serious assaults.

Shalin speaks fluent Punjabi and is a member of The Law Society for England and Wales.
