Mediation is a quicker, easier, cheaper and more amicable way to settle disputes following a divorce or separation.
Mediation allows each party to suggest their own solutions, with a third party, or mediator, assisting the two parties negotiate a settlement if the two sides disagree. When an agreement is reached a Consent Order is drafted to make the agreement legally binding. It can be far more flexible than court decisions but if mediation is unsuccessful the case can still be taken to court.
Our team of divorce solicitors can support and advise you through the process as well as draft the Consent Order when an agreement has been reached.
