Wells Burcombe named ‘leading firm’ for crime by Legal 500

Wells Burcombe is delighted to announce that it has now been ranked in the Legal 500.

The Legal 500 is an annual publication that ranks UK law firms and solicitors based on detailed analysis of submissions from firms and extensive research within the profession, as well as including client feedback interviews. The Legal 500 helps identify firms that specialise in different areas of law, helping clients find the advice they need, particularly if they have little experience of legal matters.

The 2019 guide, published on 29th October 2018, names Wells Burcombe as a 'leading firm' for general crime work in the South East.

Commenting on the rankings, David Wells, Partner at Wells Burcombe, said: "We have gained a significant reputation for our representation of clients in the field of criminal law, and regulatory matters, so we are delighted that our extensive efforts have been recognised by the Legal 500. This ranking is a reflection of many years hard work, dedication and a positive endorsement of our staff who have all helped contribute to the progression of the firm to where it is today."

Since being established in 2008, the firm has become known as one of the 'go-to' criminal defence, criminal appeals and prison law firms in the South East, and has steadily expanded its services to include Family Law, Immigration and Tax, Trusts and Succession Planning.
