Johanna Mcdermott

Johanna McDermott is a duty solicitor and Higher Rights Advocate with over 20 years experience in all aspects of criminal law.

She trained and began her career in Portsmouth before working for highly regarded firms in London. She joined Wells Burcombe in 2014. She has represented a wide range of clients with a caseload dealing with everything from the everyday work of the magistrates court to homicides, serious sexual assault, armed robbery, fraud and large scale drug conspiracy.

Whether the case is large or small, Johanna prides herself on her emphasis on client care and putting the client first. She combines a friendly and understanding approach with a determination to provide a high quality service and fight her client's corner from the beginning of the case to the end.
